Case Study – From 1:1 Low Priced Sessions to Multiple 6 Figures a Year

I’m so lucky to have brought Melissa Jean into my business because she has turned out to be such an awesome case study and testimonial.  In all seriousness, it’s been such a pleasure to work with Melissa and to see her grow both personally and professionally.

Ever since I met Melissa I’ve been fascinated by her knowledge base.  Melissa has been a physical therapist for the last 19 years, focusing on partnering with horses to improve the lives of others.

She’s a board certified Hippotherapy Clinical specialist, as well as Equine Specialist with PATH Intl' & EAGALA. In addition these certifications she is also a Reiki and trauma informed stretching practitioner.  Her main partner is a horse called Smokey. 

PLUS, she’s got a donkey named Linus that the Internet has fallen in love with but we’ll get to Linus later.

When I met Melissa, she was doing low priced 1:1 sessions and giving away her knowledge base for free (gasp!).  I was shocked!  In our first meeting together we discussed the possibility of her building a business around what she loved to do, but the path was still a little murky for her.   

That’s where I came in.

We both felt with our relationship together we could map out new products and services for Melissa and have her build a true business around helping other people.  She had a bit of fear at first before she come on board but that quickly dissipated as we got into our sessions together.

Within the first few weeks of working together, Melissa changed her entire business structure and started building out her mentorship program.  The mentorship program is either virtual only or in person.  She takes the students into the field with the horses on her laptop and does the sessions that way. 

In the video Melissa talks about what it was like to go from a limited mindset to a more abundant and robust mindset and how that affected her business and her life.  She talks about how she pivoted many times in a short period of time to deliver what the market wanted from her.  She talks about how she had to let go of some old ways of thinking.

If you feel like your skill set doesn’t allow you to take it online, then think again.  You might be playing small by believing a story that is not serving you; which is that you need to be in person to help more people.   There is a way to monetize your knowledge and talents through digital course creation and building an online community.

As the consciousness of humanity is rising, more people are struggling during that ascension process.  Which means that your services as a coach, healer, guide, mentor, or wellness professional are needed more than ever.
